Prepare for the
Bridegroom OBJECTIVE: Ladies will be introduced to the 2007-08
PWOC theme and verses. They will
become acquainted with the concept of preparedness in waiting for Christ, our
bridegroom. SCRIPTURAL
EMPHASIS: Mt. 25:1-13 At that time the kingdom of heaven will be
like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the
bridegroom. Five of them were foolish
and five were wise. The foolish ones
took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise, however, took oil in jars along
with their lamps...At Eph. 4:11-13 It was he who gave some to be apostles,
some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and
teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of
Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the
knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure
of the fullness of Christ. |

TROOP PWOC: BE
PREPARED! OBJECTIVE:
Using PWOC scouting terms and activities, ladies will be challenged to
take a fresh look at what it means to “Be Prepared” to live God’s adventure
for their lives. Three group/troop
sessions (Preparing for Works of Service; Preparing for Spiritual Warfare;
and A Place Prepared for You) are balanced by small group sessions where
ladies can earn PWOC merit badges. SCRIPTURAL EMPHASIS:
Eph. 4:12-13 To prepare God’s people for works of
service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity
in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature,
attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. |

|
Preparing
for His Presence OBJECTIVE: Through a study
of Esther’s life women will discover principles that they can use to prepare
to meet THE King. SCRIPTURAL EMPHASIS: Rev. 19:7 Let us rejoice and be
glad and give Him glory! For the
wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. |
|
|
Now is the Time OBJECTIVE: Introduce the concept of intentional
preparation to attain all Christ has for us individually and corporately so
we will be found faithful and ready, redeeming the time. January would be an excellent time to
present this program, equipping and challenging ladies to use their time
wisely. SCRIPTURAL EMPHASIS: Eph.
Mt.
25:13 Therefore keep watch because you do not know the day or the hour.

The Resurrection Boutique OBJECTIVE: As
we “prepare for the Bridegroom” we are to be clothed in His garments. During this program women will be
challenged to be clothed spiritually with eternal garments, sewn together
with love, designed for victorious living and fashioned for corporate unity. SCRIPTURAL EMPHASIS: Colossians
3:8-11 (The Message) But you know better now, so make sure it’s
all gone for good: bad temper, irritability, meanness, profanity, dirty
talk. Don’t lie to one another. You’re done with that old life. It’s like a filthy set of ill-fitting
clothes you’ve stripped off and put in the fire. Now you’re dressed in a new wardrobe. Every item of your new way of life is
custom-made by the Creator, with His label on it. All the old fashions are now obsolete. Words like Jewish and non-Jewish, religious
and irreligious, insider and outsider, uncivilized and uncouth, slave and
free, mean nothing. From now on
everyone is defined by Christ, everyone is included in Christ. Other scriptures that can be utilized: 2 Cor.

strategies for developing a victorious family game plan for the Game of LIFE. SCRIPTURAL

for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. |
